There are many reasons for getting involved: to learn what is happening and about the oppression, 'prisoners', drugs and violence entering not only in our state but how it is affecting our friends and yes, strangers across the border! Evil is evil no matter where it is. And it is also about the children. It is about having our eyes opened and overcoming evil with good. It is about strategically learning how to pray and as we have on state wide prayer calls, PRAYING for the salvation of those under the demonic influence. Jesus came that none should perish>>>NONE/nada/zero/zip! As Pray California Board Member Steven Johnson said to me today, in a simple, brilliant way with great compassion>>> "You cannot preach the Good News to a dead person." Can you imagine if we began to PRAY for the salvation of the drug leaders and their gangs, and for laborers to get out in the fields and share the hope we have in our Savior?
Border School is coming to Sacramento Friday August 20th at the State Capitol from 9am to 4:30pm, and Saturday August 21st in Sacramento, 8am to 9pm.
Joe Walsh, and Nancy McDaniel and Julia Reiff of Aglow International are encouraging people to attend as are Thomas Walker and Stephanie Steele of the National Governor's Prayer Team. Jenny Williamson, Founder of the first CA Christian home for sex trafficking (Courage House) is joining us on Saturday as one of the guest speakers....Jenny works closely with law enforcement in Sacramento region to rescue girls who have been 'sold' into sex slavery...young woman who have never experienced Godly love nor heard about their Creator who adores them and has Good Plans for them!
Pray California is stepping out in faith to bring the Sheriffs, Mobilization Missionary, Gang Expert/ LA agent, Movie Producer (who was on Glenn Beck), and the Founder here. One of our Board members put the airfare tickets on his credit card and another Board member (who is in the hospital, 3 strokes but doing well, PTL) put the hotel rooms for them on her card. So far we have about $4,200 in costs and only one donation :-) We will need to provide their meals and hopefully we can bring sandwich trays of food in for Guests and Intercessors on Saturday....If you can/would like to help with this, please send a check. We need your prayers and financially support. BUT....... we need you!
We are not charging as is usually done. We will take an offering....we want EVERYONE to be able to come and hear/see this vitally important information....WATCHMEN and all THOSE WHO CARE ABOUT THE VIOLENCE & DRUGS happening across the border and seeping into our nation.

I find it so hard to comprehend how protecting our borders has become such an issue of debate among believers; that Christians are not to say or do anything that might offend someone.
PLEASE this is not about bias, hate, ethnicity or being un-Christ-like..
Everyday, As I seek the Lord, I am stirred.
Please take time and seek the Lord about this. I believe, He will stir the Holy Spirit in you and move you to His compassion to Hispanics and Americans being victumized, daily.
Understand, we are at a pivitol moment in the history of California and our Nation. If not for any reason, do it for your children and the conditions they will face, 5 years from now.
The Border School will provide "how to tools" to respond as an individual or pastor ight where you live. And.... provide ways to support legslators facing the issues in Sacramento and our Capitol.
PLEASE this is about a safe place for all people that make California their home.
